Job summary

RethinkFirst, a market leader in behavioral and mental health technology, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our accounting and finance team, reporting to the Controller. This role will perform day-to-day accounting activities, including bank reconciliations and supporting month-end close.

Ideal candidates have a undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), and a solid understanding of GAAP and

Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist month-end close with balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure timely financial reporting and management review deadlines.
• Support external auditors with requested documentation.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.

We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our accounting and finance team, reporting to the Controller. This will be a key role in our accounting function.

Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including bank reconciliations.

• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist the month-end close process, including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure deadlines are met for financial reporting and management review.
• Support external auditors by providing requested documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and GAAP standards

Preferred undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, with 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.

Advanced Excel skills (ability to create pivot tables, VLOOKUP functions)
