RethinkFirst, a leader in behavioral health technology, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our accounting and finance team. This role reports to the Controller and focuses on accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance with 2–3 years of accounting experience, advanced Excel skills, and a hands-on approach to month-end closes, reconciliations, and collaboration with external auditors.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance with 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

Responsabilités

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities including bank reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist the month-end close with balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure deadlines for financial reporting and management review are met.
• Support external auditors by providing requested documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and GAAP standards.

We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our accounting and finance team, reporting to the Controller. This will be a key role in our accounting function.

Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including bank reconciliations.

• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist the month-end close process, including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure deadlines are met for financial reporting and management review.
• Support external auditors by providing requested documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and GAAP standards

Preferred undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, with 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.

Advanced Excel skills (ability to create pivot tables, VLOOKUP functions)
