Job summary

Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey in Caldwell, NJ is hiring a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant for the Assisted Living department. You will provide hands-on daily care, help with hygiene, grooming and comfort under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

The shift runs 3:00 PM–11:30 PM with a pay rate of $20–$22 per hour, plus a $2 shift differential and an additional $2 weekend differential. Requirements include a high school diploma/GED, state-approved CNA program, and active CNA

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of a state-approved CNA program.
• Active CNA certification.
• Experience with the elderly population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on nursing care focusing on daily needs and hygiene.
• Assist with grooming and skin care for residents.
• Work under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Maintain cleanliness and comfort for residents.

We have a new opportunity for a Full Time 3p-11:30p Certified Nursing Assistants - $20-22/hr. With a $2 shift differential and a weekend differential of another $2! This position would be working in our Assisted Living department and would include every other weekend.

Schedule: Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Sat / Sun, Tues, Wed, Thur, Fri

Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, The CNA performs hands‑on nursing care for the residents with emphasis on daily care needs, personal hygiene and cleanliness, grooming and skin care.

Education/Training/Certifications: High School diploma/GED is required. Successful completion of a state approved C.N.A. program. Possess an active C.N.A. certification.

Skill(s): Effective listening and communication skills required. Basic computer skills.

Experience: Previous experience working with the elderly population.
