Job summary

Stellar Development Foundation is seeking a Software Engineer on the Wallets team to design, build, and deploy applications across Freighter and related services, delivering end-to-end features and scalable backend support while deepening integration with the Stellar network.

You will collaborate with open-source contributors, review code, and ship user-friendly interfaces using Go, Python, TypeScript, Swift, or Dart, contributing to a mission-driven ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience developing software as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and information retrieval.
• Experience in writing server applications in Go, Python, or Java.
• Proficiency in writing client applications in TypeScript, Swift, or Dart.
• Solid grasp of software design patterns and building reusable, extensible components.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to advocate for ideas in technical discussions, especially during design and code reviews.
• A strong product mindset that drives understanding and designing for user needs.
