Job summary

Nationwide Technology is seeking a seasoned Consultant Software Engineer in Columbus, OH to mentor teams and deliver secure, scalable software solutions for the Digital Member Hub applications used across channels. You will lead technical direction, collaborate with product architects, and apply DevSecOps practices while delivering on Agile cycles in a fast-paced, hybrid Columbus, OH environment.

This role requires hands-on leadership with Java, C++, Python or JavaScript, strong API design

Qualifications

• Education: Undergraduate studies in CS/MIS/Math preferred.
• Six years of programming and systems analysis; three years in project management preferred.
• Hands-on technical leadership experience and ability to set direction.

Responsibilities

• Apply secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Mentor and trains other team members on design techniques and coding standards.
• Provide strategic advice on using technology to achieve goals.
