Job summary

Carlsmed is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to contribute to proprietary implants, instrumentation, and design automation systems. You will work on our full-stack applications, building robust backend services and engaging user experiences.

Responsibilities include designing and maintaining full stack apps with Node.js, TypeScript, and React, ensuring performance and security, and collaborating with product teams to deliver high-quality features.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent education, certifications and experience.
  • Minimum of three years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
  • Strong experience with React and modern frontend development practices.
  • Experience building and consuming GraphQL/REST APIs
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright) and version control systems (Git).
  • Ability to perform high quality work with speed.

Position Description

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will work on projects related to proprietary implants, instrumentation, and design automation systems to enable personalized surgery.You'll be working on our full-stack applications, focusing on building robust backend services and creating engaging user experiences.

Compensation

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $135,000. Individual compensation is determined based on factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location.

In addition to base salary, eligible employees may participate in incentive compensation programs and receive a comprehensive benefits package. Our benefits reflect our commitment to the health and well-being of our employees and their families and include 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance premiums, a 401(k) plan with employer matching, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).
