Job summary

MORSE Corp is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer Co-op to develop software for testing, evaluating, and deploying machine learning at scale. The role supports warfighting mission planning and automation for complex test ranges, with a broad tech stack and agile development style.

You'll work on backend Python, frontend ReactJS, and collaboration across DoD customers while leveraging cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, Docker, and Spark.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required and ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.
• Pursuing a BS or BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, ReactJS and other programming languages.
• Solid understanding of version control systems (Git).
• Familiarity with Docker and Spark is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing custom software packages and full stack applications/tools for a variety of DoD customers.
• Perform backend development for web platforms using Python.
• Perform frontend development using ReactJS or similar frameworks.
• Leverage AWS or Azure tools to improve deployments and DevSecOps tasks.
• Develop software solutions for analysis of complex data problems and big data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Participate in code reviews and provide/receive feedback on code.
• Work with and integrate latest open-source tools and algorithms to solve problems.
• Interact with customers and present work when opportunities arise.
