Job summary

MORSE Corp, based in Cambridge, MA, is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer Co-op to help develop software for DoD customers, test and deploy ML-enabled systems, and enable automation for complex test ranges. You will work across frontend and backend stacks, using ReactJS, Docker, Spark, and cloud platforms in an iterative, agile environment.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a BS/BA in CS or engineering, have solid Git knowledge, and enjoy collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required and ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.
• Pursuing a BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject.
• Working knowledge of full stack software development architectures and emerging technologies.
• Solid understanding of version control systems (Git).
• Experience with Docker and Spark is a plus.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing custom software packages and full-stack applications/tools for a variety of DoD customers.
• Perform frontend development using ReactJS.
• Leverage AWS or Azure tools to improve deployments, and various DevSecOps tasks.
• Develop software solutions for the analysis of complex/big data problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and ship new features.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback on code you review.
• Work with open-source tools and algorithms to solve novel and challenging problems.
• Interact with customers to present your work.
