Job summary

MORSE Corp seeks Full Stack Software Engineer Co-ops to develop software testing, evaluation, and deployment for ML at scale, aiding warfighter missions. A broad stack is welcomed, with emphasis on Python, JavaScript, ReactJS, and cloud DevSecOps practices.

You will collaborate with DoD-focused teams, build web apps and AI/ML infrastructure, and engage in iterative, agile development in a dynamic, mission-driven environment at our Kendall Square, Cambridge, MA headquarters.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of full-stack development architectures and trends.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, ReactJS and other programming languages.
• Solid understanding of version control systems (Git).
• Familiarity with Docker and Spark is a plus.
• Good communication skills and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing custom software packages and full-stack applications/tools for various DoD customers.
• Backend development for web platforms using Python.
• Frontend development using ReactJS or similar technologies.
• Leverage AWS or Azure tools to improve deployments and DevSecOps tasks.
• Develop software solutions for analysis of complex/big data problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Participate in code reviews and accept feedback constructively.
• Work with and integrate open-source tools and algorithms to solve challenging problems.
• Interact with customers and present work when opportunities arise.
