Job summary

MORSE Corp is seeking Full Stack Software Engineer Co-ops to develop software to test, evaluate, and deploy machine learning at scale, helping the warfighter plan and execute missions. You will build full stack web apps, software infrastructure for AI/ML, and cloud hosted applications, in a collaborative agile environment.

Based at our Kendall Square, Cambridge HQ, this role emphasizes a broad stack, strong Python/ReactJS skills, and the ability to work with AWS/Azure and DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required and ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.
• Pursuing a BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, ReactJS, and other programming languages.
• Solid understanding of version control systems (Git).
• Experience with Docker and Spark is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing custom software for DoD customers.
• Backend development for web platforms using Python.
• Frontend development using ReactJS.
• Leverage AWS or Azure for deployments and DevSecOps tasks.
• Develop software solutions for analysis of complex/big data problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and ship features.
• Participate in code reviews and feedback exchanges.
• Work with open-source tools and algorithms to solve problems.
• Interact with customers to present work.
