Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer for GameLift Streams in Seattle to own end-to-end feature development. You will build across the stack from frontend web experiences to backend services and cloud infrastructure using TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, Go, Python, and CDK.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience
• 2+ years of full-stack development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience in one or more front-end frameworks such as React or Angular
• Experience with service-oriented architecture and web services

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate features across the full stack from web frontend to backend services and cloud infrastructure
• Own features end-to-end from design through deployment, moving quickly to deliver capabilities to customers
• Participate in on-call rotations and drive improvements for reliability and efficiency
• Collaborate with UX, product, security, and partner teams to define and deliver customer experiences
• Participate in technical design and code reviews, providing constructive feedback
• Mentor teammates and help onboard new engineers to team systems and processes
