Job summary

Amazon GameLift Streams is seeking an experienced full-stack software engineer to own end-to-end feature development across the stack, from web frontend to backend services and cloud infrastructure. You will work with languages like TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, Go, Rust, Python and CDK, collaborating with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Senior Engineers to build systems that delight customers.

Qualifications

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of full-stack development experience.
2+ years of design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of systems.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
Experience with service-oriented architecture and web services.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and operate features across the full stack, from web frontend to backend services and cloud infrastructure.
Own features end-to-end from design through deployment, moving quickly to deliver capabilities to customers.
Participate in on-call rotations and drive operational improvements to increase reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX, product, security, and partner service teams.
Participate in technical design and code reviews, providing feedback to peers.
Mentor teammates and help onboard new engineers to team systems and processes.
