Job summary

Docflow Labs Inc in Los Angeles is seeking a talented engineer to own full-stack tool development for our healthcare back-office automation platform. You’ll design and run long-running workflows, integrate with payer portals, and ship customer‑facing pages for runs, jobs, and analytics.

You’ll ensure the product meets customer needs and drives measurable value while collaborating with the account executive on each relationship.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience shipping production web applications end to end.
• Strong full-stack capabilities: databases, backend, and modern UI with robust loading and error handling.
• Experience building long-running or asynchronous systems such as workflow engines or job queues.
• Product instinct: focus on user needs and trustworthy software.
• Proficiency with TypeScript or a strongly typed language.
• Experience using AI coding agents such as Claude, Codex, or Cursor.
• Healthcare, revenue cycle, or payer-related workflows knowledge.
• Willingness to work in-office five days a week in the Los Angeles area.

Responsibilities

• Build new customer tools end to end alongside the account executive, including workflows and integrations.
• Operate and maintain long-running Temporal workflows in production.
• Develop runs, jobs, analytics, and schedules for customer tooling.
• Own the path from customer change requests to verified fixes and changelogs.
• Make tools explain themselves in the customer language with clear run messages and descriptions.
• Turn frequent customer requests into self-serve products for future customers.
• Identify cross-client patterns and feed insights back to platform and product teams.
• Learn customers’ industry well enough to effectively discuss their processes.
