Job summary

FSSI is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Application Development team at our East coast facility in Orlando, FL. The role focuses on production applications, web-based solutions, APIs and composition templates used for client document output.

You will develop with C#, .NET Core/ASP.NET Core, REST APIs and SQL Server, while collaborating with QA and DevOps to support CI/CD and cloud practices. We offer an 90‑day onsite period followed by a hybrid work option.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of software engineering or full stack development experience.
• Strong foundation in C#, object‑oriented programming and modern .NET development.
• Experience with ASP.NET Core MVC or Razor Pages, Web API, DI, auth concepts.
• Familiarity with SQL Server and Entity Framework Core.
• Understanding REST APIs, JSON and integration patterns.
• Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps tooling.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project requests and identify updates to applications or templates.
• Lead discussions to design and implement robust applications and templates.
• Develop, update and maintain C# applications using .NET Core/ASP.NET Core.
• Design and troubleshoot RESTful APIs and JSON-based integrations.
• Work with SQL Server, including queries and data access via EF Core.
• Maintain templates using OpenText Exstream or Quadient Inspire.
• Write clean, testable code with SOLID and DI principles.
• Participate in CI/CD, deployments, monitoring and fixes.
