Job summary

FSSI is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Application Development team on the East Coast, with onsite training followed by a hybrid work option. The role focuses on production apps, web solutions, APIs, and document composition templates used for client output across print and electronic presentment.

You will develop in C#/.NET, design RESTful APIs, work with SQL Server, and integrate with OpenText Exstream or Quadient Inspire templates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field strongly preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in software engineering, full stack application development, API development or document composition preferred.
• Strong foundation in C#, object-oriented programming and modern .NET development, including .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
• Working knowledge of ASP.NET Core MVC and/or Razor Pages, Web API development, dependency injection, configuration, authentication, and authorization concepts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project requests and identify updates to applications or templates.
• Lead discussions with stakeholders to design and implement robust applications and templates for production workflows.
• Interpret structured input data and understand data relationships.
• Develop, update, and maintain C# applications using .NET and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
