Job summary

FSSI - Financial Statement Services Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Application Development team in Orlando, FL (hybrid after onsite training).

You will develop and maintain production applications, APIs, and templates using .NET technologies and collaborate across QA, DevOps, and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions. The role emphasizes modern .NET development, RESTful APIs, SQL Server data access, and experience with composition tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in software engineering, full stack development, API development or document composition preferred.
• Strong foundation in C#, object-oriented programming and modern .NET development (incl. .NET Core / ASP.NET Core).
• Experience with ASP.NET Core MVC and Web API development; DI, authentication, authorization concepts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project requests and identify updates to applications or templates.
• Lead discussions with stakeholders to design robust applications and templates.
• Develop, update, and maintain C# applications using .NET/.NET Core and ASP.NET Core.
• Design, develop, and troubleshoot RESTful APIs and JSON-based integrations.
• Work with SQL Server; write queries and work with EF Core or similar ORM.
