Job summary

Heirloom invites a Full Stack Mobile Developer to join our team in Charleston, SC, with a hybrid schedule and flexible hours. You’ll build, ship, and maintain React Native mobile apps in AWS, collaborating with our project lead, back end developer, and UI/UX designer to deliver secure, high quality experiences.

You’ll own the deployment to App Store and Google Play, focus on performance, scalability, and user trust, and contribute to architecture discussions while writing clean, testable code

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years in mobile app development with at least one production app on iOS and Android.
• Strong proficiency in React Native and its ecosystem.
• Experience integrating and managing applications in AWS.
• Understanding of mobile deployment workflows and store submission guidelines.
• Ability to collaborate with designers and backend developers.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship iOS and Android apps using React Native.
• Own deployment to the App Store and Google Play.
• Collaborate with the Full Stack Project Lead, Back End Developer, and UI/UX Designer to translate requirements into user-ready features.
• Integrate with AWS services for authentication, storage, and APIs.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and security of mobile apps within the AWS ecosystem.
• Write clean, maintainable code with a focus on reusability, testing, and reliability.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize mobile apps based on QA and user feedback.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and best-practice improvements.
