Job summary

FanFixApp, LLC in West Hollywood, CA is seeking a Mobile Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable mobile applications using React Native and Expo. Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver fast, reliable, and visually polished experiences on iOS and Android.

You will apply TypeScript, NativeWind, and modern mobile development practices to improve code quality, performance, and maintainability while building features that enhance the creator and fan experience.

Qualifications

• Proven React Native experience with cross‑platform apps.
• Experience with Expo SDK and EAS Build, Submit, and Update workflows.
• Working knowledge of TypeScript and writing maintainable, type-safe code.
• Familiarity with NativeWind and shadcn/ui styling.
• Understanding mobile performance fundamentals.
• Experience with GraphQL or REST APIs and React Query/Apollo.
• Understanding iOS/Android considerations and third‑party SDKs.
• Experience writing tests with Jest; exposure to Detox/Maestro is a plus.
• Attention to detail in design implementation and app behavior.
• Self-motivation with ownership and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and maintain mobile app features delivering reliable performance.
• Collaborate with product, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into mobile experiences.
• Write unit and integration tests to support stability and quality.
• Identify and address performance issues to improve responsiveness and usability.
• Own features from development through release and ongoing maintenance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Stay current with React Native and Expo developments.
