Job summary

FanFixApp, LLC is seeking a Mobile Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable React Native apps for iOS and Android. You’ll collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to ship fast, polished experiences while focusing on code quality, performance, and maintainability.

You’ll bring TypeScript expertise, familiarity with Expo/EAS workflows, and a strong sense of initiative to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Experience developing cross-platform mobile apps with React Native (navigation, UI components, performance)
• Proficiency with Expo SDK and EAS Build/Submit/Update workflows
• Strong TypeScript skills for clean, maintainable code
• Familiarity with modern UI frameworks and NativeWind/shadcn/ui
• Understanding of mobile performance fundamentals (startup time, rendering, responsiveness)
• Experience integrating GraphQL or REST APIs (React Query, Apollo)
• Knowledge of iOS/Android platform considerations and third-party SDKs
• Experience writing unit/integration tests (Jest, RN Testing Library); familiarity with Detox/ Maestro a plus
• Attention to design accuracy, platform-specific behavior, and robust state management
• Self-motivated, proactive ownership of tasks in a fast-paced startup environment

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and maintain mobile app features with strong performance and UX quality
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to translate requirements into functioning experiences
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure stability and quality
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks to improve responsiveness
• Own features from development through release and maintenance
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to improve practices and architecture
• Stay current with React Native and Expo developments and contribute improvements
