We are currently searching for a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to work 100% remote.

About the Job

We have an exciting opportunity for aMid-Level Full Stack Software Engineer with Secret Clearance to work remotely. The individual will be part of ateam doing design, development, testing, integration, operation, maintenance, sustainment, and cybersecurity services. The primary goal is to support the COSMOS current and future cloud native environments for the U.S Navy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide code versioning and management, issue tracking, code reviews, building, and testing of software (SW) applications. The contractor shall develop software using USG directed design patterns and practices.
  • Software development activities to include, but not limited to design, code, support and conduct automated tests of new or revised SW and support applications. Provide recommendations to existing Software and deconstruct proposed changes into new Software modules, or changes to existing SW modules. Provide libraries of standard code modules to shorten development and maintenance time and minimize code reuse.
  • Integrate all code development into a USG directed Development Security Operations (DevSecOps) tool chain workflow and utilize DevSecOps processes to provide application testing and promote code between development, Quality Assurance (QA), production, and Continuity of Operations (COOP) environments. Identify, review, mitigate and remediate SW vulnerabilities. Provide procedures and documentation to support the planning, managing, controlling, and reporting of project schedules, tasks, resources, risks and outputs.
  • Ensure the proper secure coding principles and practices are performed. Provide intuitive web-based interfaces utilizing technologies and frameworks including but not limited to Node.js/Python/Type/Script/JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS, and React component libraries.
  • Develop, configure, and maintain Web Service Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) utilizing various technologies and platforms, including but not limited to, REST, Type/Script/JavaScript, Node.js, Amazon API Gateway, AWS Lambda, and Amazon S3. Design and develop server-less, micro-services architecture within AWS. Design, develop, modify, and secure React applications. Develop and configure a SQL database utilizing PostgreSQL running on Amazon Aurora. Responsible for front-end and back-end development efforts, to include but not limited to the integration of systems through APIs and CLIs, such as Wiz, RegScale, Azure services, AWS services, Netskope, Google Cloud services, Oracle Cloud services, the ServiceNow platform, and other commercial tool offerings.
  • Provide technical and analytical services in support of database and API development, integration and maintenance in an operational environment. Develop, publish, and maintain schemas and database dictionaries for the systems and Swagger/OpenAPI definitions for the APIs

Requirements

  • Must be capable of obtaining and holding a U.S. government Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of software development experience in Python, Node.js, Type, Java Script, React, HTML, CSS and React Component Libraries

U.S Citizenship withSecret clearance is required for this position.
