Job summary

Hellobrigit is looking for a skilled fullstack engineer to enhance our consumer finance platform used by millions. You will work with React, React Native, and Java services in Google Cloud, contributing to groundbreaking financial solutions for low-income Americans.

Your responsibilities will include optimizing user-facing applications, developing APIs, and implementing algorithms that streamline financial processes. We foster a dynamic, collaborative workplace where innovative ideas are always welcome.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industry experience as a software engineer.
• Experience using AI tooling efficiently, familiar with best practices.
• Experience building REST based services and API development, ideally in Java.
• Experience building UI/UX for new features using React or React Native.
• GraphQL experience a plus.
• Up-to-date grasp of ES6 and beyond standards, we use Typescript.

Responsibilities

• A/B testing and optimizing features that help our users.
• Optimizing queries and relational database schema.
• Implementing algorithms for monetary transaction evaluation.
• Integrating with new 3rd party APIs.
• Decreasing customer service workload with product improvements.
• Automating visual testing & visual regression detection.
• Creating new mobile & web clients for products.
