6AM City, LLC is hiring a Fullstack Engineer to scale their next-generation consumer finance platform, working to help low-income Americans achieve financial health. As part of a small, innovative team in New York, you'll have ownership over your work and contribute to vital projects.

The role requires expertise in both backend and frontend technologies like Java, React and SQL. Competitive salary between $135,000 and $180,000 with comprehensive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience as a software engineer.
• Experience building UI/UX for new features from end to end using React or React Native.
• REST API development experience mainly using Java.
• Up-to-date grasp of the constantly evolving JS language standards, ES6 and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Evolving the APIs supporting User flows to ensure a great user experience.
• Optimizing queries and relational database schema to ensure speedy response times.
• Integrating with new 3rd party APIs to serve millions of customers.
• Implementing algorithms related to monetary transaction evaluation and risk management.
