Yoh is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer for a hybrid role in Durham, NC. You will design and implement Java/J2EE web services and REST APIs, leveraging Spring and JavaScript, while contributing to API versioning, microservices, and deployment strategies.

Full Stack Engineer - Hybrid, Durham, NC - W2 Only

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of proven software development experience, specifically with Java Web services and APIs
• Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Core, and JavaScript
• Experience defining API design including versioning, microservices, and deployment strategies
• Familiarity with API documentation frameworks like Swagger
• Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Docker, and experience with automation and testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, and Spring Test
• Ability to support mission‑critical customer‑facing applications with a focus on scalability and performance
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and private cloud capabilities
• Knowledge of web development with JSP, HTML, CSS/SASS, JQuery, Angular, and Node.js
• Scripting experience with Linux Shell and familiarity with open source streaming products and message‑oriented middleware
• Certification in AWS Cloud or related DevOps tools is a bonus

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
• 5+ years of comprehensive experience in full‑stack development, API solution architecture, and DevOps practices
