Job summary

Yoh is seeking a Software Engineer for the Providence, RI area with onsite work. You will develop Java/Spring RESTful services and rapid API integration for front-end clients using Angular, HTML5, CSS, and JSON.

Bring 3–6+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring, CI/CD tooling, and cloud deployment in Azure. This role emphasizes collaboration in Agile teams with strong server-side and client-side skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (preferred).
• 3-6+ years of hands-on programming in Java, JavaScript frameworks, and client-side tech.
• Strong knowledge of Microservice architecture using Spring WS, REST, OAuth, Swagger, Apache Camel.
• Experience developing Java/Spring RESTful APIs; Java 8 & Spring Boot.
• CI/CD with GIT, Maven, and JIRA; Azure cloud and containerization.

Responsibilities

Software Engineer - Onsite, Providence, RI area - W2 Only

What You Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (preferred)
• 3-6+ years of hands-on programming experience in Java, JavaScript frameworks, and client-side technologies
• Strong knowledge of Microservice architecture using Spring WS, REST, OAuth, Swagger, and Apache Camel
• Experience developing Java/Spring RESTful APIs and proficiency with Java 8 and Spring Boot
• Familiarity with service transformation, routing, and enrichment orchestration
• Solid background in server-side Java, J2EE, REST, SQL, JUnit, Tomcat, and client-side technologies like HTML5, Angular, CSS, and JSON
• Experience working in Agile environments utilizing CI/CD tools such as GIT, Maven, and JIRA
• Cloud deployment experience, especially with Azure, and familiarity with containerization
• Knowledge of data structures (Binary Trees, Graphs) and pattern-based solution development is a plus

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with local development environments and eager to grow within the team
• Prompt thinking and high-level communication skills
• Ability to connect endpoints, query data, and work on APIs efficiently

Preferred Education & Experience:

• A minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience is highly preferred, especially for those focusing on Angular development and SPA creation

Estimated Min Rate: $40.60
