Job summary

Reinventing Geospatial, Inc. (RGi) seeks a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our defense-focused team in St. Louis.

You will develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-based services using AWS, and write code in C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and Shell. You will design APIs, work with Redux/React, integrate open-source packages for data visualization, and apply DevOps practices within an Agile framework. A TS/SCI clearance is highly valued, with willingness to obtain CI Polygraph.

Qualifications

• Requires BS degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Must have an active Top Secret clearance to be considered and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance prior to start and willingness and ability to obtain a Polygraph.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with REACT or modern JavaScript framework.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Python and C# development.
• At least 3 years of experience with unit testing, CI tools, and GitLab version control.
• Proactive self-starter with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-based services using AWS Lambda, EC2, and other core AWS services.
• Write and maintain code in C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and Shell scripting.
• Create, document, and manage functionality in GitLab repositories.
• Apply DevOps practices and deliver features within an Agile environment.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies using Jira and Confluence.
• Design and implement APIs and database integrations with Redux/React.
• Integrate open-source packages for data visualization and filtering.
• Ensure code quality with unit tests and build tests.
