Job summary

Reinventing Geospatial, Inc. (RGi) is actively developing geospatial software for Defense, Intelligence, and Federal clients.

The role focuses on designing, developing, testing, and deploying capabilities across a complex system, with emphasis on modern languages and microservice architectures. You will collaborate in an agile environment, contribute to documentation, and work with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of software development lifecycle experience.
• Experience with Python, Java, JavaScript, or Ruby.
• Knowledge of GEOINT/SIGINT/IMINT domains is a plus.
• Experience with microservices and web frameworks.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools.
• AWS experience or certification preferred.
• Security+ certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, testing, and integration of new capabilities across a complex system.
• Integrate capabilities from different systems while meeting user needs.
• Participate in daily standups, sprint and release planning with the team.
• Write or contribute to documentation and end-user instructions.
