Realtor.com is hiring a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join a high-performance engineering organization. You will be embedded in a cross-functional team owning critical consumer ecosystem segments, from backend services to frontend experiences.

We value self-driven engineers who ship reliable software, improve tooling, and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment. Three-plus days in-office collaboration is typical for most roles.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience building and scaling distributed systems.
• Experience with Node.js and microservice architectures.
• Proficiency with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and modern frontend frameworks (React or equivalent).
• Cloud/DevOps experience on AWS with Kubernetes and containerization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI-assisted development tools into daily workflow.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and data pipelines (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS/SNS) and data warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-traffic features and partner integrations across the full vertical stack (backend, APIs, frontend, infrastructure, databases).
• Write well-tested, production-ready code and enforce test automation standards (unit, integration, E2E).
• Own operational quality, observability, and reliability of services including SLOs, monitoring, and incident response readiness.
• Ensure data integrity and secure engineering practices when handling sensitive consumer and financial data.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to optimize workflows and accelerate delivery.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and drive project delivery with ownership.
