Job summary

Headwater Science is seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer to join our Technology team. You will develop, maintain, and enhance a suite of internal and external user-facing web applications that power Headwater Science’s clinical and data operations using React, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and Python FastAPI.

You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and UX/UI designers to translate requirements into scalable, accessible interfaces, implement new features, and contribute to testing,

Qualifications

• 4+ years in frontend or full‑stack roles with a frontend focus
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills and React experience
• Experience with HTML/CSS and responsive design
• Familiarity with CI/CD and testing frameworks
• Ability to translate requirements into scalable web solutions

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications built with React, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and Python FastAPI
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and UX/UI designers to deliver high-quality interfaces
• Implement new features, optimize components, and resolve UI/UX issues
• Ensure accessibility and cross‑browser compatibility
• Write clean, well-documented code and contribute to CI/CD and testing practices
• Develop and maintain automated tests (Jest, RTL, Cypress) and participate in code reviews
