Job summary

Vytalize Health is seeking a Full Stack Engineer on Data Services to design, build, and maintain full-stack apps and services enabling clinicians and operations teams to access, visualize, and act on clinical data. Work spans React UIs through Python/FastAPI backends to data models and pipelines powering analytics.

You’ll partner with data engineers, platform engineers, and clinical stakeholders to deliver meaningful features, ensure data reliability, and maintain high code quality.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience with full-stack capability.
• Proficiency in React and modern JavaScript (ES6+) for frontend development.
• Strong Python skills with REST APIs using FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar.
• Experience implementing authentication/authorization patterns (OAuth 2.0 / OIDC).
• Data modeling, SQL, and data transformation logic; familiarity with normalization or dimensional modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design and build full-stack features spanning React Frontends and Python/FastAPI backends.
• Develop data models and transformation pipelines (dbt preferred) with reliable data flow.
• Design and implement REST APIs for clinical data, metrics, and decision support content.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product and clinical stakeholders.
• Establish testing strategies: unit, integration, end-to-end, and data validation.
