Job summary

Vytalize Health is seeking a Full Stack Engineer on Data Services to design, build, and maintain full‑stack applications that enable clinicians and operations teams to access, visualize, and act on clinical data. You’ll work across React frontends, Python/FastAPI backends, and data models, delivering features from concept to production with a focus on quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering in full‑stack roles.
• Strong React skills and modern JavaScript.
• Hands‑on Python experience and REST APIs with FastAPI/Flask/Django.
• Experience with OAuth/OIDC authentication and authorization.
• Proficient SQL and data modeling concepts.
• Solid testing experience across unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests.
• Ability to define and act on KPIs and metrics.
• Experience with AI coding assistants is a plus.
• Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with Git, PRs, CI/CD, and cloud workflows

Responsibilities

• Design and build full‑stack features spanning React UIs and Python/FastAPI backends.
• Develop data models and ETL pipelines to support analytics.
• Implement REST APIs for clinical data, quality metrics, and decision support content.
• Enforce secure access via OAuth/OIDC and API versioning.
• Create responsive, accessible React components with reusable patterns.
• Establish comprehensive testing strategies across the stack.
• Collaborate with product, data, clinical, and QA teams to validate functionality.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements.
• Leverage AI coding assistants to scaffold, refactor, and test code while maintaining quality.
• Define success metrics and dashboards to measure feature impact on workflows
