Job summary

Headwater Science, a data science and methods company, is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to build and maintain internal and external web apps powering clinical and data operations. Qualifications

• Istuffs 3+ years in Frontend/Full Stack roles with frontend focus.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Expertise in React or another major frontend framework.
• Solid HTML/CSS skills with responsive design.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications built with React, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and Python FastAPI.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and UX/UI designers to translate requirements into functional solutions.
• Implement features, optimize components, and resolve UI/UX bugs promptly.
• Ensure responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser performance.
• Write clean, well-documented code in JavaScript/TypeScript with strong HTML/CSS usage.
• Support CI/CD, testing, and code review practices.
• Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (Jest, RTL, Cypress, Playwright).
• Participate in code reviews and DevOps workflows (GitLab, Docker, AWS).
• Leverage AI coding assistants as appropriate.
• Collaborate on Headwater’s Platform Reporting tool used by epidemiologists.
