Job summary

CoBank is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to design and implement automated, cloud-based solutions for the Digital team. You will build frontend and backend components using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and containerized deployments on AWS and on-premise infrastructure.

You will collaborate with agile teams, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and mentor peers while exploring AI/ML powered features to enhance automation and customer experience in agricultural finance applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a relevant discipline preferred.
• 5 years of experience in front end and back end development.
• 2 years of experience in Agile practices.
• 2 years of experience with React, TypeScript and Node, and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience designing and implementing AI/ML-powered features to enhance automation and customer experience in agricultural finance applications preferred.
• Experience productionizing ML models and integrating them into full-stack applications preferred.
• Experience leveraging generative AI to improve customer-facing tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated solutions, tests, monitoring, and observability.
• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-based solutions.
• Build frontend and backend components using React, Node.js, and AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Contribute to SDLC and CI/CD pipelines and ensure code quality.
• Lead production issue resolution and coordinate with IT and vendors as needed.
• Mentor other engineers and participate in agile ceremonies.
• Stay updated on new technologies and implement security best practices.
