PowerSchool Group LLC is seeking a software engineer to design, build, and maintain customer-facing web applications using React/TypeScript within a micro-frontend architecture. You will collaborate with Product, QA, and other engineers to translate requirements into tested, deployable features and leverage AI coding agents to accelerate implementation and code reviews.

Qualifications

• 1 year or less of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience using AI coding assistants in professional software development.
• Proficiency in full-stack development including Java and modern JS/TS front-end frameworks (React).
• Experience with Git-based version control and PR workflows.
• Working knowledge of automated testing practices (unit/BDD).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain features for customer-facing web apps using React, TypeScript, and micro-frontend patterns.
• Leverage AI coding agents as a first-line collaborator for implementation, refactors, test authoring, and PR generation.
• Author and maintain automated test suites to validate functionality and workflows.
• Build and consume backend APIs powering core product functionality and integrations.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and other engineering teams to translate requirements into working features.
• Debug and resolve production and non-production issues across the full stack.
• Participate in code reviews using AI-assisted review and code quality tooling.
• Improve engineering velocity by refining AI-agentic workflows.
