Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Journeyman Full Stack Engineer to support the software development, maintenance, and deployment of aeronautical systems. The role covers adaptive, corrective, preventive and perfective maintenance, with design, development and automated testing of software modules.

Requires a BS in a related field with 4+ years of experience or a Master’s with 2+ years. Familiarity with Vue, NodeJS, PostgreSQL, AWS, and DevOps practices is expected; TS clearance and US citizenship are

Qualifications

BS in Information Systems, Information Technology or Computer Science or related discipline with 4+ years of experience; or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.
Proficient in software development or software integration in a service-oriented or virtualization environment.
Understanding of DevOps methodologies and workflow.
Knowledge of architectural, SW development and SW sustainment practices.
Familiar with Vue, NodeJS, PostgreSQL.
Familiar with Git/GitLab or other source code control tools.
Familiar with AWS (S3, EC2, Reserved Instances).
Familiar with system engineering documentation creation (VDDs, diagrams).
Familiar with Jira, Confluence, RocketChat.
Must obtain Top Secret clearance post hire; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Assist with software development, maintenance, integration, deployment and sustainment of aeronautical systems.
Perform design, development, automated testing, peer reviews and unit testing of software modules.
Identify software and hardware dependencies and capacity; create and maintain documentation.
Engage in software requirements analysis and maintenance in a production setting.
