Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Journeyman Full Stack Engineer to support aeronautical systems software in maintenance, development, integration, deployment, and sustainment. The role emphasizes design, development, and automated testing of software modules with peer reviews and documentation duties.

The position requires a BS in Information Systems/IT/CS or related field with 4+ years of experience (or a Master’s with 2+ years). Cloud, DevOps, AWS, and collaboration tools familiarity are expected.

Qualifications

BS in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related discipline and 4+ years of relevant experience, or master’s with 2+ years; or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.
Proficient in software development projects or services in a cloud/SOA/web-services or virtualization environment.
Understanding of DevOps methodologies and workflow.
Familiar with AWS services and cloud technologies.
Familiar with system engineering documentation creation (VDDs, diagrams).

Responsibilities

Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for maintenance and enhancements.
Perform peer reviews and unit testing; adapt to varying responsibilities.
Analyze software requirements and develop software products in a maintenance setting.
Identify software and hardware dependencies and capacities; create and maintain documentation.
