Job summary

RCT Systems is seeking a software engineer to modernize legacy applications and build secure, cloud-based systems. You will develop Java/Spring Boot REST APIs and Angular/TypeScript front ends while leveraging AWS/EC2 and Linux environments.

The role emphasizes collaboration in Agile teams, code reviews, and technical documentation to troubleshoot complex systems. Ideal candidates have strong experience with REST, containerization, and related tools, plus TS/SCI with polygraph or equivalent

Join a 200+ person technical development program supporting government entitlement, Identity & Access Management (IdAM/ICAM), authentication/authorization, attributes, and digital policy systems. The role focuses on modernizing legacy applications and building secure, reliable cloud-based systems.

Core responsibilities:

• Modernize and maintain legacy applications
• Build Java/Spring Boot REST APIs
