Responsibilities

• Follow established software development standards and best practices to ensure high-quality, reliable, and maintainable solutions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain support applications and integrations that address evolving business needs.
• Contribute to QA initiatives, including code reviews, software testing, and peer code evaluations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and the Manager of Software Development to analyze requirements, identify solutions, and support business objectives.
• Provide technical support to Tier 1 support personnel and end users as needed.
• Design, develop, and maintain data structures, databases, and storage solutions to support application functionality and business requirements.
• Assist with server administration and maintenance to ensure system stability, reliability, and availability.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and track project activities, progress, and deliverables in accordance with established expectations.
• Share technical knowledge, skills, and best practices with internal personnel as directed.
• Collaborate with the Manager of Software Development and the Vice President of IT to deliver technical solutions that align with organizational goals and business requirements.
• Perform other related duties and assignments as needed.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years of professional SQL experience.
• Minimum of three years of JavaScript development experience.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new programming languages, tools, frameworks, and technologies.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with data integration, data transformation, and system interoperability.
• Experience with Node.js, React.js, and related JavaScript technologies.
• Familiarity with web services and APIs, including REST and SOAP.
• Experience using Git or other version control systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work professionally and collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and learn new technologies to support evolving business needs.

Professional Experience Required:

• Minimum of three years of professional software development experience.
• Minimum of three years of SQL development and database experience.

Preferred Experience:

• Three to five years of experience with Node.js, React.js, Redux, or other JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
• Experience developing or supporting mobile applications.
• Experience with additional programming languages and technologies, such as Python, R, C#, or similar languages.
• Experience integrating applications, databases, and external systems.
