Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a senior software developer for the Digital Asset Research Center. You will research and build tools to test and audit digital assets across public blockchains and smart contracts, collaborating with auditors and technical colleagues to deliver reliable assurance services.

You will work on a diverse tech stack (Node.js/TypeScript, React/Angular, Solidity) and participate in agile teams, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related prior work experience in application development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management or related field.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript stack and related frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack development including front-end and back-end.
• Create technical documentation and memos for complex digital asset topics.
• Collaborate with financial auditors to design and implement techniques to test financial statement assertions relating to digital assets.
• Solve novel technical problems and provide innovative solutions to client solutions/implementations and core product offerings.
• Stay up-to-date on leading practices in this fast-growing area and apply them where relevant.
