Job summary

EY is seeking a talented software professional for the Digital Asset Research Center in the United States. You will research public blockchains, smart contracts and digital assets, collaborating with auditors and tech teams to test financial assertions related to digital assets and to develop tools and methodologies for client solutions.

The team is growing and focused on delivering assurance services with cutting-edge technology.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related work experience in application development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management or related field.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and related tech stacks.
• Familiarity with testing, databases, version control, containers and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack software development including front-end and back-end.
• Create technical documentation and memos for complex digital asset topics.
• Collaborate with financial auditors to design and implement testing techniques for financial statements assertions related to digital assets.
• Solve novel technical problems and provide innovative solutions for client solutions and core product offerings.
• Keep up-to-date on emerging practices and identify where to apply them.
