Job summary

Tecolote Research, Inc. is seeking a hands-on full-stack software engineer to advance production-quality AI-enabled applications built on Python and Angular, hosted in AWS. You will own features end-to-end from UI to API with CI/CD, testing, and secure deployments.

The role emphasizes independent reasoning about architecture, deployment issues, and production troubleshooting, with collaboration across cloud, cybersecurity, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Strong professional Python software development experience.
• Strong professional Angular and TypeScript development experience.
• Experience integrating Angular front ends with REST APIs and Python back-ends.
• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests for front-end and back-end components.
• Hands-on Git and Git-based workflows including PRs, reviews, and releases.
• Experience building, deploying, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines in AWS.
• Hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting applications in AWS.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and debug production-quality Python applications and AI services.
• Build and maintain Angular-based web interfaces integrated with Python back-ends and REST APIs.
• Develop and maintain APIs and data integration services for AI applications.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines for multi-environment AWS deployments.
• Collaborate with cloud, security, and operations teams for secure deployments.
• Participate in Scrum-based development and technical estimation.
