Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an 7+ year Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to build enterprise APIs and web applications using Python, Node.js, and AWS in a Westlake, TX area team. You will lead engineers, guide agile practices, and implement cloud-native deployments.

The role emphasizes Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and base compensation in a defined range, with potential variable incentives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full stack software development building enterprise APIs and web apps.
• Experience leading engineers and guiding teams in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Experience with web services - JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, etc.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and AWS cloud deployment/management.
• Experience with unit testing and test automation libraries/strategies.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Experience using source control and PRs (GitHub).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT).
