Tecolote in Goleta, CA is seeking a hands-on full-stack software engineer to develop AI-enabled applications using Python and Angular on an AWS-native stack. You will own production-quality features, from design through deployment, across front end, APIs, back-end services, and cloud infrastructure.

This role emphasizes production readiness, including CI/CD pipelines, Terraform IaC, and multi-account AWS deployments, while maintaining code quality and security.

Qualifications

• Strong full-stack Python and Angular development experience.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in AWS.
• Proficient with Git-based workflows and code reviews.
• Ability to troubleshoot across code, infrastructure, and deployments.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain production-quality Python back-end services and AI-enabled APIs.
• Build and enhance Angular-based web interfaces and REST API integrations.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and AWS deployments across multiple environments.
• Collaborate with cloud, security, and operations teams for secure deployments.
• Review code, perform testing, and participate in Scrum ceremonies.
