Job summary

Tecolote Research in Goleta, CA is seeking a hands-on full-stack software engineer to advance production-grade AI-enabled applications built on Python and Angular.

You will own end-to-end development across front-end, APIs, and AWS infrastructure, with emphasis on testing, security, and reliable deployments.

This role requires strong Git workflows, CI/CD, Terraform, and the ability to reason through architecture and production issues.

Qualifications

• Strong Python software development experience within established codebases.
• Proven Angular and TypeScript front-end development for production web apps.
• Experience with Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS deployments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and debug production-quality Python applications and AI services.
• Build and maintain Angular front-ends with REST APIs and Python back-ends.
• Design and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines across AWS dev/stage/prod environments.
• Manage Terraform IaC and multi-account AWS infrastructure.
• Collaborate with security, cloud, and operations teams for compliant deployments.
• Write tests, perform code reviews, and contribute to architecture decisions.
