Our client is an established Texas law firm seeking experienced Civil Litigation Associates to join a sophisticated defense practice focused on complex electric utility liability matters throughout Texas.

This 100% remote opportunity within Texas offers exposure from investigation through trial and appeal, with a path toward a non-equity shareholder track around 7 years of total experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of civil litigation experience
• Texas Bar admission required
• Experience in products liability, property damage/subrogation, energy or utility litigation

Responsibilities

• Handle civil litigation matters from investigation through resolution
• Conduct pre-suit investigation and evidence preservation
• Draft pleadings, motions and other litigation documents
• Communicate with clients and opposing counsel
• Prepare matters for trial and participate in courtroom proceedings
• Manage billing and case deadlines

Ideal Background

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between [$120,000 – $180,000]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
