Job summary

GeoSearch, a specialist in placing geospatial talent, is hiring a full-desk recruiter to own searches from client intake through offer. This home-based, flexible role supports multiple client searches, leveraging ATS and major job boards like LinkedIn and Indeed.

You will meet clients to scope roles, source and engage candidates, and manage the full cycle from phone screens to salary negotiations, working with a small, focused team.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical recruiting within geospatial, civil engineering, GIS, IT, data science, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to listen to client needs.
• Self-directed, organized, capable of working remotely from home.
• Experience with ATS platforms and recruiting databases.
• Calendar management and salary negotiation experience.
• Sales or business development in geospatial community is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to scope roles that need filling.

GeoSearch has spent 38 years placing hard-to-fill talent in the geospatial industry — lidar, photogrammetry, GIS, UAS, surveying, and subsurface utility engineering. We’re a small, focused team, and we have an immediate opening for a full desk recruiter who can own searches from client intake through offer.

What you’ll do

• Meet with current and prospective clients to scope the roles they need filled
• Source and engage candidates using our ATS, LinkedIn, Indeed, and other recruiting databases
• Run the full search cycle: phone screens, interview coordination, reference checks, and verbal salary negotiations
• Manage multiple clients and searches at once, keeping each one organized and moving
• Attend a weekly virtual team meeting

What we’re looking for

• Technical recruiting experience — geospatial, civil engineering, GIS, IT, data science, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication, and the listening skills to understand what a client actually needs
• Self-directed and organized; comfortable working independently from a home office
• Experience with ATS platforms and recruiting databases
• Calendar management and salary negotiation experience
• Sales or business development in the geospatial community is a strong plus
