Job summary

Aaru, an in-person NY-based team building simulations and hiring exceptional engineers, researchers, and designers, seeks a Technical Recruiter to own end-to-end hiring across Engineering and Research in the US. You will partner with senior leaders to influence hiring and team composition, emphasizing candidate experience and thoughtful, rigorous evaluation.

• 4+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting/sourcing in a high-growth tech company or startup.
• Genuine care for candidate experience.
• Creative use of AI to work smarter.
• Excellent written and verbal storytelling skills.
• Ability to influence at various levels in an organization.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for multiple pipelines across Engineering, from first touch to offer.
• Build deeply targeted sourcing strategies.
• Care about candidate experience; design and deliver high-quality experiences to close.
• Run interview processes with care and continuous improvement.
• Own offers: extending, negotiating, closing, and letters.
• Build strong relationships and trust across Aaru.
