Job summary

Lanco Group of Companies in Hazel Crest, IL is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to attract, screen, and hire qualified talent across professional, technical, manufacturing, and leadership roles. You will partner with hiring managers to define requirements and develop effective recruiting strategies.

The role emphasizes building candidate pipelines, promoting our employer brand and core values, and supporting intern and apprenticeship programs to grow our future talent.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of recruiting experience.
• Associate degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience recruiting for manufacturing, technical, engineering, or professional roles.
• Experience using ATS and sourcing tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment from requisition approval through onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements and recruiting approaches.
• Provide hiring managers with candidate feedback, assessments, and recommendations.
• Source and attract qualified candidates via job boards, social media, referrals, and events.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines for critical, recurring, and hard-to-fill roles.
• Develop relationships with external recruiting partners and educational institutions.
• Create and monitor job postings in UKG and other recruiting platforms.
• Maintain and update interview questionnaires to align with roles.
• Utilize UKG Recruiting and other tools to manage openings and reporting.
• Track recruiting activity and progress and report metrics.
• Deliver a professional candidate experience reflecting our culture.
• Support development programs and partnerships with schools and communities.
• Support recruitment marketing initiatives and events with the Talent Acquisition Manager.
• Participate in other Talent Acquisition initiatives as assigned.
