Job summary

InvenSense Inc., a TDK group company, seeks an experienced Full-cycle Staffing Recruiter for a 6-month contract to support US-based hiring. You will independently manage sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offers, and onboarding coordination.

You will partner with hiring managers, use LinkedIn Recruiter and direct outreach, manage requisitions in Taleo, and coordinate both virtual and onsite interviews. This role emphasizes a positive candidate experience and timely progress updates.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, independently managing multiple searches.
• Experience recruiting for US-based technical and corporate roles; semiconductor, hardware, or engineering recruiting preferred.
• Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills; ability to translate requirements into sourcing criteria.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for assigned US-based positions, partnering with hiring managers to understand role requirements and interview processes.
• Proactively source and engage candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, direct outreach, applicant pipelines, referrals, and other channels.
• Review applications and conduct initial screening interviews to assess qualifications, compensation expectations, and availability.

• Coordinate and manage Microsoft Teams and in-person interviews, scheduling, agendas, and onsite logistics.
• Lead recruiting huddles and debriefs with hiring teams, collect feedback, and drive decisions and next steps.
• Provide regular updates on recruiting progress, pipeline activity, challenges, and actions; adjust searches as needed.
• Initiate and coordinate the offer process with HR and hiring managers; extend offers and handle discussions.

Overview/Job Summary

TDK InvenSense is seeking an experienced Recruiter for a 6-month assignment supporting US-based hiring. Reporting to the Senior Manager, HR, this role will independently manage full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing and screening candidates through interview coordination, hiring decisions, and offer acceptance.

The Recruiter will partner closely with hiring managers and HR to keep open requisitions moving, provide a positive candidate experience, and maintain accurate recruiting records. This assignment will be employed and paid through a third-party payroll service.

Job Description

• Own full-cycle recruiting for assigned US-based positions, partnering with hiring managers to understand role requirements, establish recruiting plans, and align on candidate profiles and interview processes.
• Proactively source and engage candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, direct outreach, applicant pipelines, referrals, and other appropriate channels.
• Review applications and conduct initial screening interviews to assess qualifications, interest, compensation expectations, and availability.
• Manage assigned requisitions and candidate activity in Taleo, including job postings, applicant status updates, interview documentation, and requisition closure.
• Coordinate and manage Microsoft Teams and in-person interviews, including scheduling, interview agendas, candidate communications, and onsite logistics.
• Lead recruiting huddles and candidate debriefs with hiring teams, collect timely feedback, and drive clear decisions and next steps.
• Provide regular updates on recruiting progress, pipeline activity, hiring challenges, and outstanding actions; recommend adjustments when searches are not producing suitable candidates.
• Initiate and coordinate the offer process with HR and hiring managers, ensuring required information and approvals are complete before extending offers.
• Extend approved offers, answer candidate questions, and coordinate offer discussions and acceptance in partnership with HR.
• Maintain communication with selected candidates through their start dates and support preboarding, onboarding coordination, and new hire orientation as needed.
• Follow established recruiting processes and maintain accurate, confidential candidate records.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple searches from sourcing through offer acceptance.
• Experience recruiting for US-based technical and corporate positions; semiconductor, hardware, or engineering recruiting experience preferred.
• Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills, with the ability to translate hiring manager requirements into effective sourcing and screening criteria.
• Hands-on experience using LinkedIn Recruiter to identify and engage passive candidates.
• Experience managing requisitions and candidate workflows in an applicant tracking system; Taleo Business edition experience preferred.
• Strong organization and follow-through, including experience coordinating virtual and in-person interviews with multiple participants.
• Clear communication and the ability to lead hiring discussions, obtain timely feedback, and keep hiring managers and candidates informed.
• Sound judgment, attention to detail, and discretion when handling confidential candidate and compensation information.

The starting base pay for this role is between USD $35.00 and $50.00 hour for San Jose, CA. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, location, and market demands.
