Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter to own openings from intake through start date, partnering with store and program leaders to hire well and on time. This full-time role is based in our South Orlando office, with occasional early hours for events.

You will source, screen, schedule interviews, extend offers, and coordinate background checks, while coaching leaders on structured, fair interviews and market trends.

Qualifications

• Three years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting in high-volume settings (retail, hourly, multi-site).
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience using recruiting data to improve results.
• Strong organization and clear, friendly communication with candidates and leaders.
• Knowledge of fair-chance hiring, compliance, and confidentiality.
• Comfort with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Manage openings from intake through start date.
• Source and screen candidates; maintain a strong pool for recurring roles.
• Schedule interviews and keep candidates and leaders updated.
• Extend offers, coordinate background checks, and orient new hires.
• Coach leaders on local talent market and fair interviews.
• Represent Goodwill at job fairs, events, and partner sites.
• Partner with mission programs to connect job seekers with roles.
• Track metrics like time-to-fill and suggest improvements.
