Job summary

BGDC Distribution is seeking a Recruiting Specialist to lead full-cycle recruiting for high-volume distribution center roles across the region. You will partner with HR and Operations to attract, engage, and hire top talent while building proactive candidate pipelines and delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

Responsibilities include coordinating interviews, extending offers, onboarding support, and maintaining accurate recruiting metrics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of combined HR and/or recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting for high-volume operational positions such as warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution centers.
• Strong knowledge of recruiting practices, employment laws, hiring regulations, and candidate selection processes.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting technologies.
• Experience developing proactive sourcing strategies and building talent pipelines.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for high-volume and critical operational positions across an assigned region.
• Source candidates through online job boards, social media, referrals, networking events, and job fairs.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates, hiring managers, and HR teams.
• Partner with hiring managers to evaluate candidates and provide hiring recommendations.
• Extend employment offers and support onboarding processes.
• Maintain candidate records and recruiting activity in the ATS and generate recruiting reports.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations to strengthen pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws throughout recruiting.
